This chocolate is our delicious interpretation of a Swedish classic – coffee and cinnamon bun. The base is our fine dark milk chocolate, carefully blended with lightly roasted coffee beans and aromatic cinnamon to create a perfectly balanced harmony of flavors.
The coffee is roasted by our friends at Kafferäven in Gothenburg, sourced from the Abakundakawa cooperative in Rwanda, which was founded in 1999. This cooperative supports single households, with a majority of female members. "Abakundakawa" means "we who love coffee," and this passion shines through in the flavor of the coffee.
The cocoa for this exquisite chocolate comes from the Caribe cooperative in the Dominican Republic, known for its sustainable and high-quality cocoa production.

Svenska Kakao was founded in 2013 by Ulrika & Fredrik Bergenkrans in a former village school in Skåne-Tranås and is considered one of the pioneers of bean-to-bar chocolate in Sweden.
To this day, producing chocolate directly from the cocoa bean remains a rarity in Scandinavia.
The cocoa beans are sourced from carefully selected producers around the world and processed with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, transparency, fair pricing, and aromatic diversity.
