Booking Terms & Conditions for Our Tasting Events

1. Scope
These booking terms apply to all tasting events offered by CHOCO DEALER GmbH. By booking a ticket, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Conclusion of Contract & Booking

• Ticket bookings can be made via our online booking system, by email, or through other distribution channels provided by us.
• The contract between the participant and CHOCO DEALER GmbH is concluded upon confirmation of the booking.
• The number of participants per event is limited. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Participation Requirements

• The minimum age for participation is 18 years, if the tasting includes alcoholic products.
• Participants are required to inform us in advance of any allergies or intolerances. We can only take these into account if informed in time before the event.
• Participants who behave inappropriately, are under the influence of alcohol, or disrupt the event may be excluded from further participation. In such cases, no refund will be granted.

4. Cancellation & Rebooking Policies

4.1. Rebooking to an Alternative Date

• A free rebooking to another available date is possible up to 4 weeks prior to the original event date.
• Rebooking is subject to availability.

4.2. Cancellation & Legal Right of Withdrawal

• No right of withdrawal: According to § 312g (2) No. 9 BGB, there is no statutory right of withdrawal, as the booking concerns a leisure event with a fixed date.
• Ticket refunds are excluded.

4.3. Goodwill for Short-Term Cancellations

• If participation is not possible, the ticket can be transferred to another person. The original purchaser may nominate a substitute.
• A refund or credit is excluded.

5. Changes & Cancellations by the Organizer
Minimum number of participants

• A minimum of 18 participants is required for the tasting to take place. If this number is not reached 4 days before the event, CHOCO DEALER GmbH reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event.
• In this case, participants will be informed in time and given the option to rebook to a new date. If no alternative date can be offered, the ticket price will be refunded.
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will assess on a case-by-case basis whether the event can still take place.
• Any further claims (e.g. for travel or accommodation expenses) are excluded.

6. Liability Disclaimer

• Participation is at your own risk.
• CHOCO DEALER GmbH accepts no liability for health issues due to allergies or intolerances if all ingredients have been transparently communicated in advance.
• We accept no liability for damage to property or financial losses caused by or incurred by participants, unless due to gross negligence or intent on our part.
• We are not liable for lost or stolen items.

7. Data Protection

• Personal data provided during booking will be used exclusively for the organization of the event and will not be shared with third parties.
• Photos or videos may be taken during the event. If you do not wish to appear in any recordings, please inform us before the tasting begins.

8. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

• The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
• The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered office of CHOCO DEALER GmbH, provided the participant is a merchant or does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
