The beans come from Semuliki Forest Cacao in Uganda 🌱, a producer who buys freshly harvested cacao from more than 1,000 farmers – mostly women 👩🌾 – at a premium price.

ABOUT SVENSKA KAKAO
Svenska Kakao was founded in 2013 by Ulrika & Fredrik Bergenkrans in a former village school in Skåne-Tranås and is considered one of the pioneers of bean-to-bar chocolate in Sweden.
To this day, producing chocolate directly from the cocoa bean remains a rarity in Scandinavia.
The cocoa beans are sourced from carefully selected producers around the world and processed with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, transparency, fair pricing, and aromatic diversity.
